The QUINTS are coming!!

I just got of the phone with my good friend, Paula. She is scheduled to have her c-section tomorrow morning at 8am!! The babies are all still doing well, although 4 of them are showing some restriction. She is in pretty good spirits, though says that her ankles are swelling pretty badly. She has been waiting for this day for so long, and now it's finally here! I am SO excited for her! Would you please join me in praying for Paula, Jamson, and those precious babies??

12 weeks old

Isaac and I travelled to Indy this weekend to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Crowne...and boy were they surprised!! :o) We had fun hanging out with the family. And the newest happenings with Isaac are that we think he has starting teething ALREADY! He is drooling like crazy, biting me while nursing (ouch!), and not napping very well lately. We have no idea what his gums are "supposed" to look like, but we think we see some small bumps where teeth may be trying to poke through. Fun times!

In other Isaac news, this little dude FINALLY pooped today. He usually goes every day, but had not gone since last Thursday (5 days). I know this can be totally normal for some babies. And maybe this will be his new normal. We'll see. But as you can imagine, after 5 days of no bowel movements, it's been quite messy today! :o) Gotta love baby poop! Here are some recent photos. Mona is still enamored with him, and SO wishes that he would play with her. I keep telling her to give him a few more months!! Enjoy!

Today is my good friend Erin's 30th birthday!! She came over yesterday to hang out and see Isaac. She forgot that she was wearing lipstick and gave him a kiss! This was his first experience with lipstick on his face. He wasn't sure what to think of it! Have a look:

Even though baby Kevin is four months old, he is just about the same size as Isaac!

Another trip...

We made yet another trip up to Fort Wayne this weekend!! Isaac is quite the little traveller. Okay, so he's not that little. ;o) Hehe. While there, we got him a new bumbo seat (although Grandma Ober accidentally calls it a "bimbo" seat)!! Basically, it just helps him to learn to sit up on his own. His favorite thing right now is to hold onto our hands and pull himself into a standing position. This dude is going to be walking before we know it! He is still quite fussy, but every day is better and better. And we FINALLY managed to capture a couple of small (but real) smiles this weekend!! Enjoy! :o)

TWO months old today!!

We had our two-month doctor's appointment this morning. And we have a health baby boy! The doctor was VERY impressed that Isaac is already rolling over (I don't think he really believed me). He said, "If he's rolling over, that's FOUR months early!!" I wish he would have let me prove it to him, but there wasn't time. Anyway...he weighs in at a whopping 14 lbs and is 24.5 inches long!! Holy HUGE baby! That puts him just about in the 95th percentile for weight AND height! And his head circumference is just in the 25th percentile. Hehe...so he's a big boy with a small head! He didn't like getting his shots, but calmed down once I started feeding him. He's been pretty much sleeping since! And speaking of sleeping...this little dude is pretty much consistently sleeping through the night!! Woo hoo! Yay for sleep!

I did a little two-month photo shoot of our little chunker. Though he is starting to smile at us a little, he wouldn't give one up for the camera. He always looks quite serious and contemplative. Here are some pics:
