She's SIX months old!!

Gosh! This has been a crazy week, and I've hardly had a moment to pause and celebrate that this sweet baby girl is HALF a year old!! I really need to do another photo shoot with her soon! She is still super sweet and happy, most of the time. She is a total people person and therefore is struggling A LOT with bedtime right now. The girl does NOT like to sleep. She only naps in 30-minute increments, and struggles going down at night too. However, she IS sleeping well through the night and has been for some time now!

We have started her on solid foods and she's doing great with fruits and vegetables, but doesn't do well with rice or oat cereals. So we have been instructed to stay away from those for awhile. She had her doctor's appointment today, and she is right on track with everything. Her sizes are as follows:

weight: 17lbs even (70th percentile)
height: 26.25in (70th percentile)
head circumference: 16.75in (50th percentile)

She's still wearing 3-6 month clothes, but most of her pajamas are too tight, so we'll be moving up very soon! She babbles a lot and has started imitating a dog panting. It's pretty cute, and she does it often! When she notices someone looking at her, her entire body wiggles with joy as she smiles. It's the BEST! :) She also loves to give fives but HATES being on her back, making diaper changes and baths nearly impossible. :) She's not crawling yet, but getting very close, as she scoots all over the floor (mostly in circles) while playing. She doesn't have any teeth yet, but is definitely teething, so I'm guessing they'll pop through in the next month or two!

She is SUCH a joy to have in our family! Can't imagine life without this little bundle of JOY!
