Welcoming Summer...

Given that the outside temps have been well above normal for awhile now, it's crazy to think that yesterday was just the first day of summer. Craziness! We celebrated by making some delicious fruit smoothies! We also began a science experiment that will take place over a couple of days (naked eggs). The kids seem pretty excited about it.

I spend most of my day reminding Isaac to be kind to his sister, reminding Naomi to use her words, rather than SHRIEKING when she is being pestered by her brother, and protecting Sarah from both of her older siblings. Isaac generally does very well with her, but for some reason, Naomi turns into a monster around her. She'll shove toys into her face or squeeze her head in a choke hold. I just don't understand how this sweet little girl can be so aggressive with her baby sister. :( Hopefully she'll grow out of it soon...and anyhow, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Sarah catches up and surpasses Naomi in size. ;)
