We had our one-month check-up for our little guy this morning (even though we are a few days short of one month). "He looks GREAT," according to the pediatrician. We've been marveling at how big he is, but according to the growth charts he's actually pretty average. Right now, he weighs in at 10lbs, 12oz. and is 22 inches long. "On the leaner side." Now don't get us wrong...he still has all of his cute chubby rolls, but the bottom line...he's HEALTHY!! Not too big...and not too small. As for all the gassiness he's been having...well, that's probably (and hopefully) just normal baby stuff. So no worries there. Overall, it was a great appointment! Yay for a healthy baby boy!Oh yes, and I almost forgot to mention that the doctor commented on Isaac's gorgeous blue eyes. Although most caucasian babies start out with dark blue eyes, he said that Isaac's are a really bright blue and that he'd be surprised if his eyes don't stay that way! So he did inherit SOMEthing from me! :o)
